The digital art leads me to learn new techniques. As in any creative process, after many doubts and recommencements, the unborn work demands that I give up, and only then starts to appear as it had its own existence. I become free, not anymore consciously expecting results. The background light, integrated as a paint material, adds a magical dimension to the work in the making. The laboriously learned techniques are powerful means to extract the oeuvre from the void and bring it in broad daylight.
